Intro to Competitive Softball

Liberty Parks & Rec Intro to Competitive Softball League is for girls ages 7 - 14. We are constantly improving our programs to offer the best options for the youth in the community. This new addition to our leagues is designed for a Single A level of competition for those who are getting started in competitive softball. 


NEW-Intro to Competitive Softball League

  • League Format: 10 game schedule - single games
  • Game Schedule: April 24 - June 30, 2017
    • First Practice: Saturday, April 1, 2017
  • Age Divisions: 8U Machine Pitch, 10U, 12U and 14U 
    • All teams must be sanctioned with USSSA
    • The age of your child on April 30, 2017 is the age level they will play in.
  • Levels: Single A
  • Rules: USSSA softball rules apply
  • Game Days: Monday - Thursday evenings starting at 6 or 7:30 p.m.
  • Practices: One weekday practice and one weekend practice. (Weekday practices will end once games start.)
  • Equipment Provided: Game balls will be provided. Teams are responsible for uniforms and equipment. 
  • Awards: 1st and 2nd place division teams will receive a $50 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods. Players on 1st and 2nd place division teams will receive individual medals. 
  • Location: Games are played at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex Map»
Registration is closed for this session. Next league will be available in the Spring of 2018.
 

Coaching Information:

This league is dependent upon volunteer coaches. If you would like to help the program by becoming a coach, please check out our volunteer opportunities.

Season Information

Scores and Standings:
    • Scores and standings are tracked through the USSSA website. Teams completing the league will also receive 100 USSSA points. 
Division Schedules:
You will be directed to TeamSideline where you can view and print your divisions schedule.
