The Liberty Summer Band is an all-volunteer group of approximately 80 musicians who rehearse and perform on select evenings in June. The repertoire is a variety of fun and exciting music ranging from concert overtures and marches to show tunes and light classics. All concerts are free and open to the general public. Bring your lawn chairs!

2022 Concert Schedule:
May 31 (Please note that due to rain in the forecast, the May 31 Summer Band concert will be held at Liberty North High School in the Marin Jacobs Performing Arts Theatre (1000 NE 104th Street in Liberty). Concert goers must enter the building on the north side through the Field House entrance, across from the football stadium. The concert will still begin at 7:30 p.m.)
June 28 (patriotic concert)
All concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. in front of the Rooney Justice Center, 11 S. Water Street.
There are no auditions for musicians. Interested players should contact Director/Conductor Shane Fuller or Liberty Summer Band email. All musicians should be good sight-readers and have extensive band experience. High School students wishing to play in the group must have completed their freshmen year. Younger students who play at an advanced level will be accepted into the Liberty Summer Band upon the recommendation of their school band director. All adult musicians are welcome.
It is preferred that all musicians play for the entire concert season. If circumstances during the summer do not make that possible, you may play a partial season. However, to play a concert, you must attend the rehearsal prior to that concert. When enrolling via email, please include the following information:
