Liberty Silver Center

Grief Support Scheduled to Resume

In July, we will ONLY offer Grief Support for mental health relief to grieving individuals. These sessions will be held on July 9 and July 23 from 9-11 a.m. There will be no Bingo, Silver Stichers, Yappy Hour or Bible Study as we had previously planned. As of Friday, June 26 the health department is seeing an increase in positive COVID-19 cases in our county with Liberty having the largest total. Plus, currently there are two large outbreaks in nursing homes one of which is in Liberty. The last thing any of us want to do right now is to put our senior citizens in harm’s way. Stay smart, not scared.

The goal of the Liberty Silver Center has been and always will be to provide a place for community. We will do our very best to reconnect our Silver Center community as soon as we can, in the safest way possible within the Clay County Public Health Center and Centers for Disease Control Guidelines. It will be slow, and it will look different, but we are excited for the day we can see you again!

We are planning to start virtual programs and presentations and smaller group gatherings. The details are still in the works, so as things progress, we will post updates through:
