The City of Liberty has a voluntary private security camera registry program to help solve crimes in Liberty.
With our voluntary Look Out for Liberty program, we "virtually" partner with Liberty residents and property owners to create a secure, private map of security cameras. This allows our patrol officers and investigators to quickly reach out to registrants and ask for their help to review video footage to seek leads and solve crimes.
Participation in the security camera registry program is completely voluntary. The Liberty Police Department will only access camera footage after an incident has occurred and only with the permission of the camera owner. The police will not be able to access the camera remotely or in real time. Camera owners may leave the registry at any time.
