Liberty Variety Show

Saturday, November 17, 2018

You're invited to the Liberty Variety Show benefiting the Liberty Community Christmas Tree (LCCT) Program. The free evening will consist of three acts, a father-daughter 80's Super Group cover band, competition level performances from Studio LDG dancers, and a family friendly comedy and magic routine. All non-perishable food donations will benefit the LCCT program which assists disadvantaged families during the Holiday Season.

About the Show
Scarlett & The Destroyers are legends in their own mind. In fact, there’s no proof they are even a real, authentic 80’s Super Group cover band because all footage and recordings mysteriously disappeared after one of the Destroyers encountered a UFO just outside of one of their concerts, two years ago. Furthermore, every time they try to record their new hit songs or videos, everything comes back blank. This is a mysterious and unsolved mystery.

The Crazy Mike V Show is not just “Uproariously Funny!” Critics have said it is “the most heart-felt and sincere comedy and magic performance, they have witnessed!” You don’t just “watch” Crazy Mike V, you are sucked into an interactive environment of comedy and laughter. It’s like being at a big family party, where everyone is laughing and having fun with their crazy uncle.

Crazy Mike V has performed coast to coast since 1996. He performs in Las Vegas at the Linq Promenade, as well as at the Freemont Street Experience, five days every month. In addition to that he has performed for Harrah,s Casino, Radisson Resorts, Fox Family TV, Theme Parks, State and County Fairs, and more corporate events than you can count. When Crazy Mike V is not on the road performing, he enjoys spending time with his family where he lives, right here in Liberty.

Liberty Community Christmas Tree Program
The Liberty Christmas Tree (LCCT) Program is designed to lend a hand to disadvantaged families and older adults who are facing a difficult holiday season. This program is made possible by the countless volunteers and donors who help the Liberty Community Christmas Tree Commission raise funds and organize donations. A special thank you for the continued support from the Liberty Public School District and the City of Liberty.

In 2017, we were able to:

  • Raise $46,600 for gifts, perishable food items and other necessities.
  • Provide food and/or gifts to 284 families with 714 children and 118 other adult households.
