Mark Your Calendars for Fall Clean-Up Week!

During the Fall Clean-up Week, City of Liberty residents can get rid of excess trash, furniture, minor maintenance materials and carpet. Just place the items at the curb or roadway on your regular trash day. Please keep in mind that, with the exception of large pieces of furniture, each item must not exceed 45 pounds or be longer than 4 feet. To assist the trash collectors, please be sure that all items are securely tied, bagged or bundled. 

The following items are not eligible for collection: 

  • Sleeper sofas 
  • Tires
  • Hazardous waste (including paint, insecticides, chemicals or batteries)
  • Appliances    
  • Refuse from remodeling, roofing or major repairs    
  • Yard waste    
  • Concrete, rock and rubble   

Tree Limb Yard Will Be Open

The City of Liberty tree limb yard will be open to Liberty residents from 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m, Oct. 22-26 and from 8:30 a.m.  - 2 p.m. on Oct. 27. The site is located on new 210 Highway, approximately 1/2-mile east of Highway 291. Watch for signs and be sure to bring proof of residency.  Only tree limbs may be brought to the area. This service is for residents only; no commercial vehicles allowed. 

Houshold Hazardous Waste

If you missed Liberty's mobile collection event for Household Hazardous Waste, you can still safely dispose of HHW  mobile collection events on Sept. 15 & 22 and Oct. 20 & 27.  Check out the HHW collection event schedule.  Or take adavantage of the two permanent drop-off facilities.
