POSTPONED: HHW Collection Event in Indpendence

This event previously scheduled for April 4 has been postponed. The make-up date will be shared once it is available.

Spring cleaning is the perfect time to get rid of household hazardous waste (HHW)! Because the City of Liberty is a member of the Regional HHW Collection Program you can take advantage of the first HHW mobile collection event of the year in Independence.  It will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4 in the large parking lot bordered by Walnut, Liberty, Kansas and Osage streets. This event is FREE to participating communities. A driver’s license or recent City utility bill is required to verify residency.

If you’re not ready for an event on April 4, you can always take your HHW materials to one of two permanent collection facilities»
