We have some exciting news! The Liberty City Council approved a contract to resurface the Liberty Community Center parking lot at its meeting on Monday and the work could start as early as TOMORROW (7/30, weather permitting). The work will be done in phases, requiring various parking closures. The first phase is concrete work, replacing curbing and a trench drain. Expect PARTIAL parking lot closures for about five business days. The second phase is to overlay and stripe the entire parking lot, which will require a FULL lot closure for about five business days.During full closure, Community Center Members can park at the Liberty Middle School or across the street at Blackberry. All work is tentatively scheduled to be complete by late August. This project is weather dependent and we will provide updates on the project as it moves along.
