  1. DEA Drug Takeback Day

    October 29, 2022, All Day
    @

Got old prescription or over-the-counter drugs? Don't throw them away or flush them down the toilet! Dispose of them safely on Saturday, Oct. 29 - the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

This event is a great annual reminder to get rid of any unwanted, unused medications, but the Liberty Police Department has a secure prescription drug drop off box open year round located in the Police Department lobby (enter Liberty City Hall off of Missouri Street).

The DEA's Prescription Drug Collection Program’s goal is to prevent and reduce illicit drug abuse as well as the abuse of over-the-counter and prescription medication, and to provide a safe, environmentally friendly option for drug disposal.
