  1. Facility Access
  2. Safety Procedures

With the lifting of the Clay County Public Health (CCPHC) emergency order on May 14, the City of Liberty will no longer require masks inside City facilities. The CCPHC still recommends that unvaccinated individuals should continue wearing masks indoors and social distancing when possible.

Masks are recommended in the Liberty Community Center but no longer required. We ask that you please respect those who choose to still wear a mask. Staff will continue regular cleaning protocols.

  • COVID- 19 Assumption of Risk
    • COVID-19 has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments/health agencies recommend physical distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups and people. The City of Liberty has preventative measures in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, the City of Liberty cannot guarantee that you, your children, or any other person, will not become infected with COVID-19. Attending City of Liberty facilities, activities and or programming can increase your risk and/or your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19.
