Conference Room at the Liberty Community Center
The Liberty Parks & Rec Advisory Board is a twelve-member appointed group of citizens by the Mayor with approval of City Council. The board is responsible for making recommendations to the City Council regarding the acquisition and development of public parks and recreation facilities as well as the provision of community recreation programs.
Meetings will be held on the first and third Tuesday of the month if there are cases to be considered.
Parks & Rec Maintenance Building at City Park
The Liberty Tree Board’s mission is to develop and maintain the community’s trees and forest in a strong, healthy condition for today and the future. The Board advises and supports the city’s Community Forestry Program.
Liberty Arts Commission meets on the second Thursday every month at 6 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Conference Room.
Regular sessions of the City Council generally are typically held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. It is at these meetings that City Council takes formal action.
The February Planning and Zoning Commission meeting will be held via Zoom at 3 p.m.

Will you be our Valentine? Come spend Valentine’s Day at the Liberty Silver Center playing music Bingo. This is a fun spin on traditional Bingo where you listen for love songs rather than numbers being called. We might even have some Hugs and Kisses for you!

Let’s celebrate life! The Liberty Silver Center hosts a birthday lunch for everyone celebrating a birthday during that calendar month. This special event includes a fried chicken lunch, musical entertainment and of course, balloons!
