What the numbers tell us about our aging population:
• In 2011, the first baby boomer turned 65.
• It is projected that for the next 10 years 10,000 Americans will turn 65 each day.
• The 2010 census estimates that there are approximately 3,000 people age 60 and older in Liberty.
Join us to brainstorm what services and programs Liberty should have to serve this growing population's needs. The goal of the open-house events is to develop a plan that will help meet the social, intellectual, physical and spiritual needs of our community.
Reservations are not required, only an open mind and creative suggestions.
