An abbreviated Walking Tour of the Dougherty Historic District will be held, in spite of the construction on Franklin Street, this Saturday, September 13. Local resident and intrepid tour leader Dan Wehmueller will hit the highlights.
The tour meets at Rotary Park, at the corner of Franklin and Gallatin streets at 10 a.m., and is free and open to the public. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. The tour will last about an hour.
