CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING
In a season full of traditions, the City of Liberty is maintaining a tradition of its own by once again offering FREE Christmas tree recycling. So after the ornaments come down and the lights and tinsel have been removed, bring your cut Christmas tree to one of the City’s two drop-off locations:
• Bennett Park: 1100 Clayview Dr.• City Park: 970 S. 291 Hwy.
Tree drop off will be available through Feb. 1.
At both parks, look for the tree signs near the baseball fields. The Liberty Parks and Recreation Department will mulch the trees and use the wood chips on natural surface trails in City parks. Last year, the City recycled 700 trees into mulch for Bennett Park.
