Contractors will close North Forest Ave. on Aug. 22 to start work on the installation of public improvements for the Northpoint Forrest Avenue Apartment Complex.
This includes road improvements to North Forest Avenue. The road improvements will include new storm sewers, curbs, sidewalk, street lights and traffic signal upgrades at MO-291 Highway and Forest Avenue. A roundabout will also be installed to provide access into the apartment complex.
The road improvements will be done in phases to allow access to St. Stephen Lutheran Church, First Assembly of God Church and Highland Dental. Detour signs have been posted and road construction is anticipated to be completed in late spring 2017.
