After recent storms, Liberty Public Works will open the Tree Limb Yard to Liberty residents:
- Friday, Oct. 6: noon - 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 7: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Public Works will still have the regularly scheduled Fall Tree Limb Yard days the last weekend of October:
- Friday, Oct. 27, 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 28, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The tree limb yard is located on new 210 Highway, approximately 1/2-mile east of Rte 291. Watch for signs and be sure to bring proof of residency (driver’s license, city water bill, etc.). Only tree limbs may be brought to the area. Other yard waste will not be accepted. No commercial vehicles will be allowed to access the site.
As a reminder -- if you've arranged for a private company to haul away tree limbs, please be courteous when stacking the limbs at the curb. We have received several reports of limbs that are stacked so high it's becoming a sight distance issue for drivers watching for oncoming traffic.
