Join Liberty Parks & Rec, American Legion Post 95 and VFW Post 4043 for the annual Veterans Day Celebration, honoring all who have served. This year's event will include guest speaker, Technical Sergeant Jimmy Register - Air Force Reserve, a performance by the Discovery Middle School Choir, presentation of colors, veterans call to attention and more!
This event will be held on November 11 in the meeting rooms at the Liberty Community Center starting at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
About the keynote speaker - Jimmy Register has been in the Air Force for 19 years and has been deployed four times. He has also been a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Liberty Fire Department since 2006. He is a member of the 442nd Fighter at Whiteman Air Force Base, a Weapons Loader for the A10 and was awarded the Air Force's Leo Marquez Missile Maintenance Award in 2006 for enlisted personnel.
