Join the Garrison Neighborhood Task Force for the second community meeting to discuss neighborhood improvements and possible solutions to concerns voiced by residents, including:
- Sidewalks and Infrastructure
Evaluate the sidewalks, alleyways and street lighting in the neighborhood to make safer, more accessible pedestrian experiences. - Safety and Speeding
Discuss possible solutions to speeding through the neighborhood, including traffic calming measures, locations for additional crosswalks, etc. - Beautification
Identify opportunities for improved landscaping, needed tree maintenance and installation of historic neighborhood signage and/or street markers. - Vacant or Dilapidated Properties
Explore solutions to work with property owners on revitalizing vacant or dilapidated properties. Connect interested residents with resources.
Garrison Neighborhood Boundaries:
For the purpose of this meeting, the Garrison Neighborhood will be defined as Francis Street on the north, Main Street on the east, Mississippi Street on the south and Morse Avenue on the west.
