If you need a place to stay warm during the extreme cold, the Liberty Community Center lobby (1600 S. Withers Road) is available as a warming center. The warming center is available to anyone, regardless of residency.
The Liberty Community Center's normal weekend hours are:
- Friday: 5 a.m.-9 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Sunday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
The Community Center is currently open during regular business hours. Please note that hours may change due to inclement weather. Be sure to check the Parks & Rec webpage and Facebook page for updates as conditions develop.
People using the warming center are encouraged to bring their necessary personal items like medicines and ready-to-eat snacks. Warming center visitors may purchase a day pass if they would like to use the Liberty Community Center's other facilities.
