What do ghosts, goblins and witches have in common with Santa Claus, stockings and reindeer? The Liberty Community Christmas Tree!
The Sertoma Club of Liberty is hosting a Halloween bash, October 29, to benefit the Liberty Community Christmas Tree, which is designed to lend a hand to disadvantaged Liberty area families who might not otherwise have a joyous holiday season.
Come dressed in your best costume to Heritage Hall, 117 W. Kansas. Doors open at 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for best costumed individual and couple. Music will be provided by DJ Quinn. There will also be light hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar available.
This year Liberty Community Christmas Tree anticipates helping approximately 300 families with food and gifts for the holiday season. The program has a goal of $30,000 to meet these needs. All proceeds from this Halloween bash will go to the Liberty Community Christmas Tree.
Tickets for the Halloween bash are $20 per person or $30 per couple. Tickets can be purchased at the door or from Platte Valley Bank.
