[ARCHIVED] Forecasters are predicting a doozy of a storm!

Public Works and Parks employees, nine plows with spreaders, two trucks with spreaders and nine smaller plow vehicles are ready to clear and treat the nearly 350 lane miles of roadway in Liberty. It takes approximately 15 hours to complete one entire pass of the City. In heavier storms, it may take several rounds through each route to keep the streets as clear as possible.

Forecasters are predicting the impending winter storm will affect both the morning and evening commutes. So, if at all possible, avoid driving in winter weather conditions to help expedite snow removal and ensure your safety and the safety of others.
