he Liberty City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Charlie Stevens as its first director of a newly created Utilities Department at its meeting on February 28.

“Through the hard work of the Utilities Task Force, the City Council Budget Committee and staff, we have already implemented a number of efficiencies in our utilities,” said Liberty City Administrator Curt Wenson. “Charlie brings the experience and expertise we need to continue strengthening our utilities services from every angle.”
