Do you feel stuck with your drafty old wood windows? Would you like to have beautiful, functional windows without investing a small fortune in replacement windows?
The City of Liberty, together with Historic Liberty, will host a wood window repair workshop, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 11. Old house expert John Carr will demonstrate how to repair wood windows at this free hands-on seminar. Demonstrations will include how to remove the sashes to repair ropes and weights, replace broken glass, re-glazing, and how to properly install weather-stripping.
The workshop will be held on-site at 124 N. Jewell St. in Liberty. This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited to 20 participants, so please R.S.V.P. to 439-4537 by June 10.
For more information on the workshop, call 439.4537.
