The Liberty Silver Center is providing light snacks and tea for ladies on Tuesday, July 12 at 1:00 with a special presentation from Val Howard, Bess Truman’s assistant.

Howard served her civic duty with pride and loyalty to Mrs. Bess Truman for the last five years of Mrs. Truman’s life. The program includes anecdotes and personal accounts of Howard’s life with the First Lady.

You can make your reservations over the phone by calling the Liberty Community Center at 816.439.4361 or in person at the front desk. Reservations must be made by Friday, July 8. The cost of the tea is $2.50 per person.
