Take a Tree Identification Walk, learn about the many benefits that trees provide and, if you want to play in the dirt, you can even help plant some trees around the Park Lane playground and adjacent trails within the Westboro-Canterbury Greenway. Kids can join the fun in a tree leaf collection activity with Wendy Sangster, urban forester with the Missouri Dept of Conservation. Hot dogs and refreshments will be provided. Participants should bring gloves if they wish to assist with tree planting.
