[ARCHIVED] Liberty Silver Center is looking for bookworms to join two book clubs

Enjoy reading books? Want to discuss your books with other people? The Liberty
Silver Center offers two book clubs on the third Tuesday of each month.

With one club meeting between 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. and another between 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., you can choose the time that best fits your schedule. Both clubs meet at the Liberty Community Center, 1600 S. Withers Rd. Participants share information about the books they are currently reading on their own and select books to read and discuss as a group. Interested persons should contact LeAnn Lawlor at 816.439.4396 or

The book clubs are an extension of the Liberty Silver Center and the newly developed Over 50 after 5:00 program. Both programs strive to offer activities that encourage social, intellectual and physical activity for the 50 and better crowd.
