The Silver Stitchers group is looking for yarn donations to help with charitable donations.
The Silver Stitchers is a group of women, and sometimes men, who meet twice a week at the Liberty Silver Center to knit, crochet, needle point and more. The group creates and donates many items to charitable organizations throughout the year. This year the group has donated more than 65 items such items as afghans, shawls, preemie hats and crocheted stuffed animals to local charities.
In order to continue these donations, yarn is needed. If you have yarn sitting around your house, or your mother's house, bring it to the Liberty Silver Center, 1600 S. Withers Rd between 9 am -1 pm Monday-Friday. All donated yarn will be used for projects for local charities.
Anyone interested in joining the group should contact the Silver Center at 439.4368.
