Nearly 200 volunteers from 9 community organizations planted 145 trees in 6 of Liberty's parks, including Stocksdale, Clay Ridge, Wilshire, Bennett, Canterbury-Westboro, and Northwyck. Organizations included TreeLiberty, the Heartland Tree Alliance, Girl Scout Troop 453, 4 Corners 4H Club, Girl Scout Troop 197, Cub Scout Pack 214-Den 4, Brownie Troop 3630, Liberty North High School, and the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity at William Jewell.
