[ARCHIVED] Call for Volunteers: Snow Squad

We may not have enjoyed a white Christmas, but the Liberty Parks & Recreation Department wants to ensure that when the snow comes, we can help older adults and the disabled within Liberty with snow removal.

The Department is looking for hardy volunteers who are willing to brave the cold and snow to join the Snow Squad. Volunteers on the Snow Squad will clear walkways and driveways for citizens that have no other resource for snow removal accumulations of two or more inches. Beneficiaries of the Snow Squad's help will be screened by the Parks & Recreation Department and volunteers will be called as needed.

To volunteer for this program, visit the Parks & Rec volunteer page at to download an application or call 439.4396 for more info. Completed applications should be mailed to: Liberty Parks & Recreation, ATTN: LeAnn Lawlor, 1600 S. Withers Rd., Liberty, MO, 64068. Or fax the completed application to 816.439.4377.
