[ARCHIVED] Parks & Rec’s new “Rain Out Line” is so much more than just a rain out line!

Let the system do the work for you by sending you email or text alerts or download the iPhone or Android app so you can check the status of an activity from your mobile phone. Liberty Parks and Recreation has segmented the status updates to make it more efficient for you to get the information you need for your sport, program or location. For example, you may choose to get notifications just for the Fountain Bluff soccer fields, Bitty Sports or Parks and Rec programs held at Bennett Park baseball field.
Playing in a tournament over the weekend and don’t want to keep receiving status updates in the following weeks? No problem! Users can predetermine when they want to stop receiving updates for a particular program or location. With the apps, all you have to do is unsubscribe.
You can, of course, still call for updates, 816.735.4700, or head to the website at rainoutline.com/search/dnis/8167354700. Even when calling, you can skip directly to that status report if you know the program’s extension.

To get started, download the RainOutLine.com app from the iPhone or Android stores; head to rainoutline.com/search/dnis/8167354700 to check out the website or to subscribe for email or text alerts; or just call 816.735.4700.
