The City of Liberty, together with Historic Liberty, Inc., will again host a series of free architecture tours that will highlight Liberty's historic features.
The first tour of the season, on May 4, will be of the Jewell-Lightburne National Register historic district and led by historian Christopher Harris. Meet at the parking lot at the corner of Franklin & Lightburne streets.
All tours are free and open to the public. Tours are on foot; so, participants are reminded to wear comfortable walking shoes. All tours will begin at 10 a.m. and generally last an hour. For more information about the tours, call the City's Preservation Office at 439-4537.
