The five stations will be located every .62 miles along the course and will include push-ups, sit-ups, body weight squats, squat thrusts and jumping jacks. The Boot Camp 5K is the culmination of the “Commit to Get Fit” challenges sponsored this year by the Liberty Parks and Recreation Department.
Participants in the department's Commit to Get Fit challenges are automatically registered for the Boot Camp 5K.
Entry in the race is not limited to Commit to Get Fit participants. Kids and adults can step up to the challenge of the Boot Camp 5K. The entry fee is $25 for adults and $15 for youth 17 years of age and younger. Registration is available online at www.ci.liberty.mo.us/ParksOnline or the Liberty Community Center, 1600 S. Withers Rd.
