The City of Liberty will hold one more public meeting in July to give Liberty residents an opportunity to learn more about the $95 million bond issue that will come before Liberty voters on August 6.

City of Liberty officials have been exploring ways to provide the best, most cost-effective wastewater treatment service for Liberty customers now and in the future. The City of Liberty City Council and staff are committed to:
-- Providing our wastewater customers with the most cost-effective service.
-- Ensuring the wastewater treatment and collection systems have the capacity for future growth in Liberty.
-- Utilizing a wastewater treatment system that provides for predictable treatment costs.
-- Controlling and protecting Liberty’s future.
In May, the Liberty City Council took the next step to taking this issue to the voters by approving a $95 million bond election that will come before Liberty voters on August 6.
