The City of Liberty is developing a city-wide Trails Plan that will provide the framework for an interconnected, multi-use trail system. This is an update to the 2003 Parks and Open Space Master Plan. The Trails Plan is being developed through a collaborative process in which proposed trails will be adapted and adjusted based on citizen input.
There are two ways to give us your feedback!1. Join us for our second Build Your Own Trail Mix - Open House on Tuesday, July 9.2. Take a short, online survey.
Trails enhance community health and quality of life by providing easy access to everyday outdoor recreation and interaction with nature. While Liberty currently has more than 10 miles of paved trails, most exist as isolated segments in parks. An interconnected trail system will allow our residents to easily access trails for recreation or bike/pedestrian transportation.
