[ARCHIVED] Donations needed to help record number of Liberty Community Christmas Tree (LCCT) applicants

Applications are up, but donations are down for the Liberty Community Christmas Tree (LCCT) program. With a record number of applications this year the program needs your help!

More than 290 households with more than 770 kids already have applied for this year's holiday assistance program. That's nearly 100 more children than were registered last year.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, tons of donated canned good and non-perishables are collected through Liberty schools for the LCCT program. But now, financial support is greatly needed. Tax-deductible, monetary donations help make Christmas even brighter for families, children and seniors in our community that are facing difficult times.

Your gift, whatever the amount, significantly impacts the lives of the disadvantaged in our community.

$25 provides gifts for one child.
$100 provides perishable and non-perishable items to one family.

If you would like to ensure this year's Liberty Community Christmas Tree program can spread the holiday spirit to our neighbors in need, you can donate online, through the Liberty Parks and Recreation Charitable Fund or mail your contribution to:
