You have likely seen crews from the Missouri Gas Energy subcontractor InfraSource working around Liberty over the last few months. MGE is in the process of upgrading all the bare steel pipes to polyethylene pipes throughout the region.
The work has wrapped up for the winter and will pick up again in the spring. Green lines on this map indicate pipes that have already been replaced and orange lines indicate pipes that will be replaced in 2017.
