The Missouri Department of Transportation is set to begin rehabilitation of the Route 291 Bridge in Clay County.
Crews will close the left lanes of northbound and southbound Route 291 Bridge beginning Monday, Feb. 19 and they will remain that way throughout the duration of the project. During the closures, crews will build crossovers in the median.
Once the crossover work is complete, the traffic configuration for this project will be head to head traffic on the southbound portion of the 291 Bridge only. The new configuration will begin the first weekend of March.
