Come celebrate Kids to Parks Day with Liberty Parks & Rec on Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. We will start the morning at Ruth Moore Park with yard games and enjoying the many amenities at the park. At 10:45 a.m. we will start a 1 mile park to park walking scavenger hunt to Arthur’s Hill Park. Once at Arthur's Hill Park we will try out the NEW playground and other amenities in our newest park. Kids of all ages and families of all sizes are welcome for this FREE event.
The goal of Kids to Parks Day is to connect kids of all ages to parks to:
- enjoy the outdoors
- learn from wonderful outdoor classrooms
- instill the importance of stewardship
Can’t make it? No worries, you can still celebrate Kids to Parks Day on your own and share photos of your own Kids to Parks activity from one of Liberty’s 13 parks on the May 19! If you take photos of all the family fun, please share your photos with us through @LibertyMissouri on Facebook and Twitter with #LPR and #KidstoParks.
