The Cemetery Sexton schedules regular volunteer work days to trim brush and pick up trash at the Fairview, New Hope and Mt. Memorial Cemeteries. Work days are generally held on the 3rd Saturday of the month (March - October).
Sign in at the columbarium located near the corner of Jacob and David Streets in the cemetery. Volunteers will help with cleaning up trash, leaves and brush, and resetting/cleaning historic headstones. Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves, shovels and pry bars. Water will be provided.
NOTICE: Work days will be cancelled if it is raining.
