The city currently has 12 outdoor warning sirens. With the growth that has happened over the last few years, there is a need for more coverage of the warning system on the south end of the city. There will be a new siren that will be installed in the area of Homestead Hills Road and South Withers Road. This was determined to provide the most coverage for the needed area. This siren is part of the upgrade and replacement plan initiated in 2022.
