Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is an Evidence-Based Program recommended by the Centers for Disease Control that incorporates Tai Chi principles for improving health and wellness, as well as being proven effective for fall prevention. Tai Chi works through improving balance, confidence and muscular strength and has been proven as one of the most effective approaches to preventing falls. This program will meet either once a week for one hour over the course of 16 weeks, or twice a week for 8 weeks. Participants will learn 21 different Tai Chi forms throughout the program.
