Next week, as early as Monday, July 7, the northbound outside right lane of M-291 from Kansas to Stewart will be closed M-291 project to allow the contractor to safely start utility conflict identification, grading and other construction activities. Drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid congestion.
This Blue Jay / M-291 Traffic Signal and Stewart Intersection Project includes:
- Signalization of the intersection of Blue Jay Drive and M-291
- Modification of the intersection of N. Stewart Road and M-291 with the installation of a median to eliminate dangerous left-turning movements onto and out of N. Stewart Rd
- ADA sidewalk improvements from Kansas St. to the North Havens Center commercial development
