Gravestone Preservation Workshop
The Clay County Archives, along with Ray Brock, are sponsoring a gravestone preservation workshop at Mt. Memorial Cemetery on July 21 (on the campus of William Jewell College)
Those who are interested in participating in the restoration of the vandalized gravestones at Fairview Cemetery are encouraged to attend this workshop at Mt. Memorial for proper training and repair techniques.

Fairview Cemetery Clean-up
On behalf of the Mayor and City Council, the Liberty Parks and Recreation Dept. is organizing a volunteer clean-up day in response to the recent vandalism at the Fairview Cemetery. No registration required – bring gloves, shovel, etc. (if you have them).

Location: Meet at Franklin Elementary School at 9:00 a.m. for instructions (lunch will be provided)
