Dispose of household hazardous waste at a mobile collection event in Liberty on October 24.
City staff, volunteers and representatives from the Mid-America Regional Council will be on hand to collect these materials from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the City Hall parking lot at the intersection of Missouri and Kansas Street. This event is for household waste only; business waste will not be accepted.
Residents who are unable to take advantage of this local event can make an appointment at one of two drop-off centers in the metropolitan area. The centers are located at:

The mobile collection event is made possible through Liberty’s participation in the Regional Household Hazardous Waste Program. In 2008, Liberty residents safely disposed of 61,459 pounds of household hazardous waste events Liberty and other community and at the two permanent waste facilities.
