[ARCHIVED] Liberty Community Christmas Tree Coloring Contest

Do you have kids in a Liberty elementary school? Have them put their artistic skills to the test with the Liberty Community Christmas Tree coloring/decorating contest.

Click the link below to download and print the annual picture of St. Nick (please don't enlarge it or alter the image) and have them color or decorate it. You can also pick up an entry form at your elementary school's information table. (Limited quantities are available at the schools).

Completed artwork, along with the completed entry form, may be turned in to your school or dropped off at City Hall, 101 E. Kansas. Entries must be submitted by 2 p.m., Friday, October 30.

Three winners from each grade (K-5) will be selected. Schools will be notified of the winners prior to the Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and there will also be announcements in the News Flash, on the City's website, Channel 2 and in the Liberty Tribune. Winners will be recognized at the Lighting Ceremony on November 20. The event begins at 6 p.m. Contest winners will accompany the Mayor when he lights the tree and will receive a small gift for participating in the contest.
