We are headed to the boot heel of Missouri to Charleston, Missouri, known for its Victorian homes, beautiful gardens and cultural history. It is a fascinating place to visit. This time of year the town is in all its glory with colorful Dogwoods and Azalea blossoms. We will spend a day and a half at the festival and the rest of the time we will be exploring the region. Highlights include a tour of Ste. Genevieve, Museum of Transportation, Ft. Davidson Historic Site, Elephant Rock State Park, and the amazing Bonne Terre Mine.
