[ARCHIVED] Spay Day 2010

With reduced price sterilizations available February 8-12, 2010, Liberty residents can help reduce pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering their dogs and cats.

During the week-long event four area veterinary clinics will be offering a limited number of reduced price sterilizations as part of a cooperative effort with Liberty Animal Control to prevent companion animal overpopulation. For dogs, the reduced cost is $95, which includes spay/neuter as well as rabies, distemper shots, heartworm test and an annual city license. For cats, the reduced cost is $85, which includes spay/neuter and rabies and feline distemper shots. These fees are approximately half of the full cost for these services.
