[ARCHIVED] Easter Bunny to hide 15,000 candy-filled eggs at Stocksdale Park

On March 27, children, up to 8 years of age, can join in the fun at the 30th annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Liberty Parks and Recreation Department and Liberty Super Target.

The Easter Bunny will hide 15,000 Easter eggs on paved and unpaved trails throughout the park for boys and girls to find at Stocksdale Park, 901 S. Lafrenz Road. Everyone should meet at the park near shelter house #1 prior to the 11 a.m. start. Children will be divided into three age groups to hunt for the eggs on the paved and unpaved trails located in the park. A bag of goodies will be available to the first 500 participants; candy available to all. Bring your camera for that special photo with the Easter Bunny.

In an effort to help others in the community, the Parks and Recreation Department also will be collecting non-perishable items to benefit the In As Much Ministries food pantry. Non-perishable items are encouraged, but not required.
