Thanks to Ripple Glass, glass recycling returned to Liberty in early November. As of February, Liberty's collection site located on 400 Suddarth collected and recycled 12.98 tons of glass; 3.82 tons was collected in February alone.
Because the home bins are selling out quickly, Ripple Glass will be reordering additional bins with the expectation that more residents will start recycling their glass. The home bins will be for sale at area Price Chopper stores.
