Come to the Green Fair to see, smell, taste, touch and learn about the ways you can get more “green” into your life! The event will take place from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Water and Main streets in downtown Liberty, Mo., and admission is free. There will be a rain barrel demonstration, yoga demonstrations, drawings and giveaways. A variety of “green” product vendor booths will include organic products for the home and body, environmentally friendly lawn services, recycling options, green building products, and much more.
In conjunction with the Green Fair, a screening of Fresh: The Movie will be shown on Friday, May 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Corbin Theatre. Fresh is a documentary about sustainable agriculture and our food system. The screening is sponsored by the Historic Downtown Liberty Farmers’ Market, and admission to the film is free. Visit www.FreshTheMovie.com for more information about the documentary and the fresh food movement.
